PREPSHIELD Platform
The PREPSHIELD cloud-based platform will provide a set of integrated tools to support knowledge sharing, decision-making, and citizen-focused crisis management. The platform will operate in two modes: simulated mode for training and preparedness, and operational mode for real crisis management, where simulations will assist decision-making and guide stakeholders.
Built on CS Group’s Crimson crisis management system (www.crimson.eu), PREPSHIELD will offer a secure, scalable, and field-proven cloud-based solution. It will allow multiple users from different organizations to collaborate in real time, whether for training or managing actual crises.
Designed to be modular, secure, collaborative, and map-centric, the platform will be used in an online pilot involving public authorities, citizens, civil society organizations, disaster response teams, and healthcare institutions, ensuring a more coordinated and holistic approach to health crisis management.

Mobile application
The PREPSHIELD mobile application will be offered by public authorities and health institutions to citizens and healthcare practitioners to improve health crisis preparedness, response, and communication. Different types of users will be able to contribute valuable information about their well-being, health status, symptoms, and mobility through a secure and privacy-compliant interface. The application offers functionalities like self-reporting and an advanced survey and polling tool.
