The PREPSHIELD project is proud to announce a new scientific publication in BMC Health Services Research, titled: Challenges in healthcare facilities\u2019 response to past outbreaks: a systematic review of reviews.<\/p>\n

This study, led by researchers from Universit\u00e0 del Piemonte Orientale and PREPSHIELD partners, provides a comprehensive overview of the challenges faced by healthcare systems during past infectious disease outbreaks.<\/p>\n

The publication presents a systematic review of reviews<\/strong>, analysing evidence from outbreaks such as COVID-19, H1N1, influenza, measles, and Mpox across European healthcare settings. <\/span><\/p>\n

By examining multiple studies, the research identifies recurring gaps and challenges at different levels of healthcare systems, including hospitals, primary care, and emergency services.<\/p>\n
